It is truly our joy to surprise and delight and over-deliver, and our privilege to be your team. We are about relationships; not just forming them and maintaining them, but really pouring ourselves into each one. Logistically, emotionally…any way you need us, we will be there. We will advocate for you and reassure you and hold your hand every step of the way; from our very first meeting to the moment you say, “I do”.
However high the expectations you set on us, we set higher ones on ourselves. We are a team of romantics, artists, and designers who are also perfectionists, and we will not stop until we see your dream realized. At Bella Vie, we love hard work and being challenged, and we refuse to give you anything less than our absolute best.
Meet Abigail, the creative force behind the Bella Vie team. With a contagious joy and a genuine love for life, this girl boss brings passion to every project. She directs events like a maestro, orchestrating all the moving pieces (and making it look easy). Not only will she dot every “i” and cross every “t”, she will triple-check every word and communicate clearly along the way every step you will take. With an innate need to create, Abigail stuns with her diverse skills; from handmade invitations and calligraphy to lavish wedding desserts and custom gift baskets. She comes from a very long line of very talented artists, and has gathered bits and pieces from each of them throughout her life. The ultimate encourager, Abigail will recognize what you need before you even realize you need it; be it a detailed mock-up of your proposed event space or a hot cup of tea and a listening ear. She will be your cheerleader, your confidant, and far and away the best guide you can find to lead you through the planning process.
A few things she loves: Dark chocolate, dark coffee, and dark red wine. Twinkle lights. Trail running. The smell of rain. Sunflowers. Crunchy leaves. Spontaneous dinner parties. Charcuterie. Dates nights in the dark on a blanket under the stars. Baseball games in the summer. 1920’s jazz music. The sound of the ocean at night and genuinely appreciative people.
Charis is a powerhouse; there is no other way to put it. She exemplifies the ideal of a “strong woman” by making it a reality, and by achieving that title with class and grace. She works tirelessly (while never seeming to actually get tired) but also has the emotional and tactical sensitivity to tend to every need a bride-to-be may face on her wedding day. Charis is the person you can pull aside and confide in, no matter the timing or scenario, and also the one who will do the needed heavy lifting (even when the men are too tired to do it). She loves a challenge, and she loves people. Whatever need you have, Charis will meet it, or she will find someone who can. She is the calming factor, the level-headed problem-solver who can step back and remind everyone that everything is okay. And with her on your team, it really will be. Because while outwardly she projects reassurance and trust to everyone around her, internally she is cranking into full gear to do whatever is necessary to make every single detail fall perfectly into place
A few things she loves: Her baby girl. Ice skating. Horseback riding. Crossfit and strength training. Long walks. Worship music. A cup of coffee with a good friend. Quality time with her favorite people. Daisies. Laughter and those who can make her laugh. Lake days, chocolate, and a long hug from someone she loves.
An expert floral designer with over 30 years of experience, Laurel brings an unparalleled awe-factor to the Bella Vie team. She doesn’t just decorate event spaces; she transforms them. An artist through and through, each venue is a blank canvas to her on which she can paint a new and unique masterpiece. Her keen eye for design allows her to visualize and intwine elements together that others simply don’t perceive, and it is truly incredible to watch her work her magic. Laurel’s talent lies not only in her technical skill, but in her genuine love for working beauty into every detail. Compassionate and kind, she brings a level of care to her craft and to the people around her that comforts, reassures, and puts everyone at ease. If you want an event that’s extravagant, you want Laurel on your team.
A few things she loves: Faith, family, friends and philanthropy. Crackling campfires and mountain hikes. Heirloom roses. Caramel mochas. Baby kittens. The smell of oil paints (they remind her of her father’s art studio in Texas). Really good food, really good music, and every time her beautiful daughter walks through her front door with their next adventure.
